Find the Shortest Breeding Path

Some Pals can't be caught in the wild and aren't a one-step breed — you have to breed your way up to them. The Breeding Path Finder takes the Pals you already own plus a target, then computes the shortest chain of breeding steps to get there, so you never waste generations on a dead end.

How the path finder works

It searches every breeding combination outward from the Pals you own, layer by layer, until it reaches your target — then returns the fewest steps possible. Each step tells you exactly which two parents to pair and what they will hatch.

When to use it

Reach for the path finder when a Pal is expensive to catch, region-locked, or breeding-only, and you're not sure how to get there from what's in your box. It turns a guessing game into a clear to-do list.

Starting from the Pals you own

Tell it which Pals you already have and the plan starts from your real roster instead of an empty box. You can import your caught Pals straight from the Paldeck Tracker so you never re-enter everything.

Tips for faster breeding

The fewest steps is not always the cheapest — a chain that reuses Pals you have plenty of can beat a shorter one that needs a rare parent. Keep a Cake stocked and a spare breeding farm running to work multiple steps in parallel.
